Raising a concern

If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a learner, a child or another adult:

  • Act promptly — do not wait to be certain
  • Contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy
  • Record what you saw or heard, factually
  • Do not investigate yourself
  • Call 999 if someone is in immediate danger
  • Concerns about staff can be raised under the Whistleblowing Policy
